1. Data controller
Perros de Búsqueda y Rescate de Cancún, A.C. (“PBRC”), domiciled in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Contact for any matter related to your data: derschutzrenault2@hotmail.com · +52 998 141 2228.
2. Personal data we process
- Identification and contact data: name, phone or WhatsApp, e-mail and city.
- Your dog’s data: name, breed, color, sex, date of birth, microchip number and photos.
- For courses with a certificate registered with Mexico’s Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (STPS): the data required by the labor skills certificate (DC-3), for example name, CURP, occupation, position and employer details.
- Photos and videos of training sessions, therapy, rescues and events.
Sensitive personal data: to assess and certify service and medical assistance dogs we may process information about your health or disability, only as far as needed to define the dog’s tasks. The specialty shown on a credential (for example “Service Dog / Medical Assistance”) may indirectly reveal health information, so we also treat it as sensitive data.
3. This website
- It uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics tools.
- The contact form stores nothing: it opens WhatsApp with your message so that you decide whether to send it. When you write to us on WhatsApp, the platform processes your data under its own privacy notice.
- Credential verification runs in your own browser: we do not receive the name or number you type.
- Our hosting provider may automatically log technical data, such as IP addresses, for security purposes.
4. Purposes
Purposes necessary for the relationship you establish with us:
- Answering your requests for information and quotes.
- Providing dog training, assessment and handler–dog team certification services.
- Issuing credentials, certificates and, where applicable, DC-3 certificates, and meeting the obligations that follow from them.
- Keeping the registry that makes it possible to check that issued credentials are genuine.
Purposes that require your consent:
- Processing the health or disability data mentioned in section 2.
- Showing your credential details in this website’s online verifier: dog’s name, breed, specialty, certificate number, handler’s name, date of issue and the dog’s photo. These details are only shown to someone who types the dog’s name and the certificate number printed on the credential.
- Publishing photos or videos on this website and on social media. If minors appear, only with the authorization of their mother, father or guardian.
- Sending you information about courses, trials and events.
You may refuse these purposes or withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the services you hired. If you do not authorize the online verifier, the authenticity of your credential can be confirmed directly with us.
5. Consent for sensitive data
Before processing sensitive data and before showing your credential in the online verifier, we will ask for your express written consent, by handwritten or electronic signature.
6. Transfers
We do not sell or hand over your personal data. We only share it:
- with the company that hires a course, regarding its staff’s certificates, and with the STPS when labor regulations require it;
- with competent authorities when there is a legal obligation or a duly grounded request.
7. How to limit the use or disclosure of your data
Write to derschutzrenault2@hotmail.com at any time to ask us to remove your credential from the online verifier, not to publish images showing you, your children or your dog, or to stop sending you information.
8. ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent
You may access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights), and withdraw your consent, free of charge. Send your request to derschutzrenault2@hotmail.com including:
- your name and a way to receive our answer;
- a document proving your identity or, where applicable, the identity and authority of your representative;
- a clear description of the data and of the right you wish to exercise;
- any detail that helps us locate your information, for example the certificate number.
We will answer within 20 days of receiving your request and, if it is granted, carry it out within the following 15 days. These periods may be extended once, for the same length of time, when the circumstances justify it.
9. Changes to this notice
We will publish any change on this page together with the date of the last update. If a change affects purposes that require your consent, we will let you know through the contact details you gave us.
